Blooming in My Garden

If it weren’t for the background, this would be a great shot. I love the unusual angle and the way the petals look swept back as if windblown or in flight.

My new camera has me taking a closer look at all of my flowers. I’m wondering where the green came from in this hydrangea blossom.

My favorite red zinnias are finally blooming. I’ve been watching and recording the buds as they open.

Look at the amazing amount of pollen he has collected.

At first glance I thought that this was a wasp but upon closer inspection of the photo, I don’t see a stinger.

MrBrownThumb, I'm definitely getting more interested in insects now that I am able to photograph them better.

I'm most impressed by your lovely photos, especially the bee and amazing amount of pollen and your blooming neighbor's garden. Your gift behind the lens is evident ;)
